i am melina berndt, a visual creator from a town close to bremen.
since 2021 i study integrated design at the university of the arts bremen (hfk bremen). i enjoy working with a wide range of media, yet illustration and photography have won my heart. watercolors, drawing, linocut and sometimes gouache as well as experiments in front of the lens accompany me towards my goal of creating empathy and understanding in the field of mental health.
since 2022 i have been an active member of the center for cartooning and low comedy (cclc). the production of our publication “sheet” is currently our focus here.
